Minal Hasan runs K2 Global, a venture fund investing in early-stage tech start-ups. She has invested well over $100M across more than 30 tech start-ups since she founded K2 Global in 2014 at the age of 31, which have so far resulted in 3 IPOs - Spotify, Twilio, and SendGrid. Other early-stage investments include PayTM, Devoted Health, Paktor, Imagene Labs, and Revolution Precrafted. Minal raised the largest inaugural woman-run venture capital firm at $183M, and one of the largest inaugural funds ever in Silicon Valley by a first-time VC. She oversees a team of 8 across offices in Silicon Valley and Singapore. Prior to founding K2 Global, Minal was a start-up lawyer at law firms such as Fenwick & West, where she was outside counsel to prominent tech companies like Twitter, Square, and Uber beginning in their early days. Previously, Minal was also Vice President of Stanford Angels, which seed invests in tech start-ups coming out of Stanford.
